Walking in The Boquer Valley, Majorca

We discovered a fantastic walk on nymcam.co.uk around the stunning Boquer Valley in Majorca and felt the urge to share it with you.

It’s a 4 mile ‘off the beaten track’ walk with some breathtaking views.

See the full walk here.

The walk starts just outside the Oro Playa holiday apartments, Puerto Pollensa, along an avenue of ancient pines interspersed with tamarisk trees – the wide pathway was once part of the entrance road to the Boquer finca (farm).

Passing through the gates you’ll soon arrive at the castellated front of the farmhouse buildings.

From the farmhouse courtyard you will enjoy spectacular views south-east back towards the resort of Puerto Pollensa and in the far distance across the Bay of Pollensa, to the popular coastal holiday resort area of Alcudia  and south-west along a fertile valley towards the ancient town of Pollensa.

Two new houses added to our portfolio

We’ve recently added a further two properties to our ever growing portfolio.

Villa Julia is in Binibeca (Menorca) just 500m walk from the beach. It sleeps 8 and has extensive, pretty grounds fringed with shady palm trees and a stunning view over the ocean. It’s perfect for a family vacation with all the mod cons and easy access to amenities (head to Maó).

Villa Julia, Binibeca

Alternatively, check out Os Padrons, in Pintens  (Hio). It sleeps up to 12 in 6 bedrooms and is just 100m from the sheltered sandy beach of Pintens. The setting is incredibly tranquil with vinyards, miles of coastline and meadows all at easy reach.

In the summer months of July and August, a local ‘chiringuito’ opens just behind the beach and provides the ideal setting in which to enjoy a supper of freshly caught fish, and from here a little path leads the way to a number of other equally enticing beaches.
